Passport and visas:

A visa is required for entry to Lebanon. It could be obtained at the airport for some nationalities. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months.

Lebanese currency and banking:

Foreign currency can be exchanged at any bank, or at any money exchange shop. However, almost everything can be paid in US currency. The monetary unit is the Lebanese Pound. US $ 1 ~ LBP 1500.

Languages:

Most people in Lebanon speak French or English in addition to Arabic. Foreign newspapers and magazines are available.
